About Electropollution

Your home’s electrical system, along with your HVAC (heating, venting, air conditioning) and plumbing make up your homes’s three essential systems. Of the three, the electrical system is the most vulnerable to contamination by electromagnetic fields or EMFs.

• “Electropollution” is a general term used to define 60Hz AC (alternating current) fields that flow through our homes on electrical wiring. There are five main EMF fields that make up electro pollution.
• “Electrical fields” are generated by wiring in the walls, ceiling, and floors, extension cords, power bars, lighting fixtures, ungrounded lights, switches, plugs, electronic appliances, radio’s, computers, TV’s, and most of our everyday electrical conveniences, especially un-grounded devices.

• “Dirty Electricity” consists of an extra harmonic or transient frequency that rides on our regular 60Hz house current and is created by such conveniences as dimmer switches, low voltage halogen lighting, under cabinet lighting, electronic ballasts, wiring errors, loose wiring, aluminum wiring, improper grounding of phone and cable tv systems, not all but most office electronics, ie fax machines, paper shredders, halogen lamps, CFL’s (compact fluorescent light bulbs) and neighborhood power line influences, transformers, tree branches, RF signals on wiring.
